For most guys, when they think of ideal places to spend a sex holiday, or even stay long term as a (s)expat, locations such as Asia and certain countries in Latin America are often the first things that come to mind, and that’s probably understandable.
One of the last places guys still consider? Africa.
There’s probably a lot of reasons for this, but let me assure you, to the uninformed or inexperienced, 90% of those reasons are bullshit. That’s especially true when it comes to a city like Nairobi in Kenya.
This place is a guy’s paradise in many ways, most of which will surprise you. Nairobi has been on the up and up for awhile, and that definitely includes the sex scene, which is just as inundated with working girls as other famous mongering destinations.
Indeed, Nairobi is pretty incredible in more ways than one, and an ideal location for guys that are more into the non-pro side of things – although you can get super hot prostitutes for less than 10 USD.
I’m getting ahead of myself. Allow me to introduce you to Nairobi, and the 5 best places to meet Kenyan girls for sex in the capital.
What to Know Beforehand
Let me address some of the bigger misconceptions before we delve into all this.
First off, Nairobi is incredibly safe. Yes, they’ve had a few incidents from time to time over the last decade, but this is not unlike many western cities. As long as you stay in this part of the country, and really even Mombasa on the east coast, you’re more than fine, and a lot safer than in some Latin countries for sure.
Secondly, one of the first things you’ll notice is how friendly everyone here is. Genuinely friendly, it’s pretty awesome. The moment you arrive at the airport, you’ll see what I’m talking about. The same goes for anywhere you are in town.
Yeah, you might catch a glimpse of a giraffe walking around outside town from time to time, but Nairobi is very much civilized, and increasingly modern. Think of it like seeing cows or horses on the outskirts of many midwestern states in the U.S..
The city itself is very safe too, and although I never really recommend being out and about after dark in major cities anywhere, if you do end up walking around in the better parts of town, you’ll have nothing to worry about.
As I’ve said, this city is on the rise, and that includes infrastructure, and the education and job skills of the local populace. Nairobi is the Silicon Valley of Africa. A little rough around the edges in some spots, but expect that to change soon.
Culture
I’ll try to be brief here. For the most part, Nairobi has a sort of westernized feel to it in a lot of ways, or at least as close as you can get for an African city. The language barrier is practically non existent as well, with the overwhelming majority of residents learning English from the 1st grade and on (Kenya used to be a British colony). Kenyan English has a lot of similarities to British English, but there are also some caveats that will take some getting used to if you’re a western-dwelling mzungu (the African version of a gringo – a white foreigner).
Swahili is the official local language that’s also common in other East African countries. Two useful words you should know are “asante” (thank you) and “jambo” (how are you?).
The guys here are extremely friendly and chatty, and you’ll no doubt make some genuine new friends during your exploits. No jealousy or hostility here, and certainly not like you’d get in a place like South Africa. Nairobians are laid back and happy to host you. They’re also fairly up to date on western music and television.
Girls
As for the women (the reason you’re actually here), you’re in for a treat. Nairobi girls are open-minded, speak English, straight forward, proud, sexual, and very easy to get along with. Seriously, these girls are badasses, but not in a standoffish way. And most of them love indulging in the mzungus passing through.
Prostitution is fairly rampant here, kind of like in Dominican cities, except the girls are not as annoying or pushy. And besides that, the ultimate dream of many local Kenyan women is to find a white guy to have a family and kids with. You don’t need to go that far, just so you know.
Areas
Westlands is the nicest and most modern area of Nairobi with many nice hotels, shopping malls (Sarit & Westgate) and one of the two main nightlife areas around Woodvale Grove Street.
Downtown (also known as CBD) is more crowded and can be a little overwhelming if it’s your first time in Kenya, but this is where the city’s main red light district is located, with brothels and street hookers along River Road and strip clubs along Keekorok Road.
You can easily set up shop at a hotel, most of which are girl-friendly, and either Uber, Bolt, or walk over to where there’s stuff to do. You can certainly find some other decent areas around town (such as Kilimani), but stick to these two for most of the time and you’ll be just fine.
Nairobi Girls in Brothels / Bars
The bar scene is pretty vibrant in Nairobi, and the atmosphere is usually fun and relaxed. What’s more, there are plenty of freelancer bars that have rooms for short time rental in the back or on the upper floors.
Sabina Joy Club (photos) is the oldest, nicest, and most popular brothel of Nairobi, located on Moi Avenue in the middle of the city. There’s always good times to be had here, as it’s a bar that is absolutely packed with working girls and open 24/7.
It works like this: You walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor, past the security guy (no entrance fee) and into the bar, which is rectangular-shaped with different seating areas. I’d stay away from the back as the music is usually pretty loud there (afternoons are better though) and just take a seat near the bar area, from where you have a good overview of the place and ladies. Depending on the time of day, there are between 30 and 50 freelancers (among them some 8s or 9s), each of them eager to sit next to you, have a chat and a drink, or maybe get down to business straight away:
They will be ready to have sex with you for about 1,000 KSh. Some girls ask for as little as 500, while others hope they can get 2,000 from you as a mzungu. Once you’ve agreed on a price, you can either go to one of the four very basic rooms in the back with just a bed in it (300 KSh, 30 minutes) or to a somewhat nicer room with bathroom upstairs (1,000 KSh, 3 hours). They also provide 3-pack condoms for 150 KSh extra.
Similar bars that function as brothels with exactly the same concept (lots of freelancers and short time rooms) are VIP Classic Bar, Young Drifters and Sophia Joy Bar (from better to so-so in this order), all located in the same downtown area.
As for regular bars, Havana in Westlands is a longtime favorite, and a popular spot for expats bringing their dates (more on dating below). During the day, you can watch a football game and chat it up, but when the work day lets out, it starts to fill up with a solid amount of Nairobi girls. Definitely come by more than once as they have good food, too. You’ll pay 350 KSh for a Tusker beer (500ml).
K1 Club House (also Westlands) is probably the most popular nightclub that has a good amount of girls (both black and white) hanging out as well.
Nairobi Girls in Strip Clubs
Nairobi has a sizable strip club scene, many of which also function as brothels, whether it’s official or not. You’ll find these spots all over, including the outskirts of the city, and right smack in the middle.
You can obviously walk in one and do the standard drink and watch thing but all of the girls are for sale, either right there in the club, or your place after. The strip clubs usually have rooms for sex on the premises, so it’s not hard to get in and out in under an hour. You don’t really get hustled, and things are very cheap for the most part.
The infamous Keekorok Road in downtown is the main hotspot for strip clubs in Nairobi, with three different places to choose from: Gabeez, Bavon and Liddos. Give them all a try and see what you like best.
As for the prices, they charge an admission fee of 200 KSh at Gabeez, 300 KSh (regular) or 1,000 KSh (VIP) at Bavon and 500 KSh (regular) or 1,000 KSh (VIP) at Liddos. A beer will cost you 300 or 350 KSh, a lap dance around 500 KSh, and 5,000 KSh is what the good looking girls are asking for a sex session (room on site included, the girl’s share is about 2,000 KSh in this case).
Dollarz Gentlemen’s Club in Westlands is another option – it’s new and spotless, but somewhat more expensive.
Street Hookers in Nairobi
The third type of sex worker in Nairobi you can easily get for little money are the street hookers, and here again the two main hotspots are found in downtown:
There are 2 distinct buildings on River Road where 5-10 sexy ladies are waiting for customers outside at all times (at night many more than that). Each building has more than 30 rooms available for short time rental. The girls will go up to have sex with you for about 1,000 KSh. The room rental fee is another 500 KSh. The girls have condoms.

Happy Ending Massages in Nairobi
There is no shortage of erotic massage spots spread throughout Nairobi. If you’re used to the typical process of any other happy ending massage place, you’ll have no trouble figuring it out here. You can often tell what locations offer happy endings (which can be anything from a hand job, blow job to full sex), as they look a little seedy, or have some sort of red lights.
These massage parlors often have younger college student girls working, and some younger wives, so there is a lot of value to be had at these. It’s a pretty big open secret around here.
They usually charge 3,000 or 4,000 KSh for a 1 hour full body massage (called a “Swedish Massage”) and then you can tip anything from 1,000 KSh for your happy ending – depending on what you want.
Sumaya Massage Spa and The Yaya Spa in Kilimani are two good places to visit at the moment. Go check them out or just walk around the main nightlife areas and discover them yourself.
