Yesterday I wrote a comprehensive guide on the different places to meet ladyboys in Bali, so now you probably also want to know which hotels are “suitable” if you want to bring one of them back to your room.
Because you should be aware that not all hotels here in Bali are “ladyboy-friendly”, means while some locations won’t make problems when you invite local girls inside, they may actually stop you at the reception when they see you walking in hand in hand with a shemale.
So no matter if it’s a totally “normal” transgender you’ve met on My Ladyboy Date, or actually a freelancer you hooked up with in the night club – some hotels just aren’t cool about the issue and will come up with all sorts of excuses, like “sorry sir, your room is for one person only” (because you checked in alone) or “we don’t allow guests in the rooms, sir”.
Sometimes they even try to make you pay a “joiner fee” of 200 or 300k, and if you tell them that yesterday they didn’t say anything when you invited your German friend in, they will surely find yet another excuse like “this our policy for Indonesian guests”.
So what you should be looking for is a hotel that may only ask for the ID card of your joiner (for both your own and the hotel’s security) but otherwise won’t make any problems or even charge money. And of course, it’s also a good idea if that hotel is located strategically well, means within easy walking distance to the various bars, clubs and massages in Seminyak or Kuta that are known to be frequented by shemales (see the link above).
Since you cannot see on Agoda or Booking.com whether a certain hotel allows ladyboy guests or not, I have put together this list for you to compare:
Best Hotels in Seminyak
Primera Hotel
If you want to stay right in the center of the main LGBT area in Bali, the Primera Hotel would be an excellent choice. It’s located on Jalan Camplung Tanduk, just 100m from both Bali Joe Bar and Mixwell Bar, which are known as the best ladyboy bars on the island. The hotel itself offers great value at only about 40 USD for their standard double rooms. It’s a fairly new and modern hotel that even has a nice swimming pool outside, and also the common area with bar and restaurant is great if you want to have a drink with your ladyboy first, before inviting her to your room. Just make sure to check on the availability soon as they tend to sell out quickly:
Pelangi Bali Hotel & Spa
A more luxurious option is the hugely popular Pelangi Bali Hotel – it’s located right at the beach in Seminyak and will without doubt impress your ladyboy if you tell her that you stay there. Well, she might even lower her price (if she’s a hooker) just to experience a stay in one of the nicest hotels on the island. The best part about this place is probably their fantastic pool area with views of the ocean. The room rates at this 4 star hotel start at about 90 USD per night for their superior rooms, which is still a good deal and that price also includes a huge buffet breakfast for two.
Tonys Villas & Resort
Located in a more quiet area in northern Seminyak, Tonys Villas is suitable for those of you guys who don’t set your priority on nightlife and partying, but instead use the dating site to arrange a romantic dinner date, followed by an open invitation to “relax” or “watch a movie in my room”. Their incredible pool villas (picture) are just perfect for that plan, but of course those come with a certain price tag (about 140 USD per night). They also have cheaper room options, such as deluxe pool view rooms for 67 USD per night. All rooms include breakfast and a welcome drink.
Best Hotels in Kuta
Kuta Beach Club Hotel & Spa
Like its name suggests, the Kuta Beach Club Hotel is very close to the beach (about 300m) and they’ve also got a huge and beautiful swimming pool themselves. The rooms have a boutique style to them, some are designed with bright blue colors, others feature more wooden elements. The mattresses are super comfy, each room has a big desk where you can do some work on the laptop if you need to, and the outdoor terrace right in front of each room is great for having a chat with your ladyboy, before moving inside for the sex part. The premier room is the cheapest room type here for about 45 USD per night.
Bounty Hotel
An even cheaper hotel in Kuta that is ladyboy friendly as well is the Bounty Hotel located in Jalan Poppies – right behind the Beachwalk Shopping Center (the most popular mall in Legian) and just 400m from the Ground Zero Monument (a big square surrounded by some of Bali’s best bars and night clubs on Jalan Legian, such as Sky Garden, Paddy’s Pub & Engine Room). You can get a standard room here for 24 USD, or 29 USD if you want the breakfast included. In my opinion the Bounty Hotel is a decent option, but if you can afford to spend a few bucks more, I think the Kuta Beach Club Hotel (see above) offers a much better value – the rooms there are newer, brighter and just more comfortable overall. The Bounty Hotel is better for partying though, as it’s closer to the nightlife strip on Jalan Legian.
