As far as mongering goes, the Dominican Republic is one of the most adventurous destinations you can visit. Whether you’re into the darker-skinned Latinas and Haitians, or the lighter ones, there’s no debate as to the more exotic women you can find here, and often the bigger curves as well.
Not only that, but the actual location itself is one of the most beautiful on earth. The island benefits from the mixture of southern Atlantic and Caribbean climate, resulting in year-round hot temperatures that are the perfect match for the abundance of beaches all over the coast.
Perhaps more importantly, the Dom Rep is relatively cheap. While most of this has to do with the dire status of the country’s economy (that doesn’t show much chance of getting any better for awhile), it also has to do with the market. Thousands and thousands of girls here are available for a price, which not only gives you more options, but keeps the price low as well.
Like anywhere else in the Caribbean, the Dominican does have its own set of unofficial rules going on, and it may take you a day or two to figure out the ins and outs. Once you’re set however, you can have an awesome time, and depending on how strong your game is, it may not always involve payment.
That said, this guide is about what you can expect to pay for sex with Dominican girls so that’s what I’m going to go over.
What to Know Beforehand
There are certainly more than a few key points you need to be aware of before landing in the DR.
First of all, prostitution is very much legal, and has the same restrictions that other similar countries have, mainly that it’s legal as long as the girl is independent, and no third party benefits from the transaction. But we all know how that goes.
Brothels used to be a pretty big thing here, but not so much anymore, as the government has done their best to crack down on all of them. This was mainly because the Dom Rep was getting too much of a reputation as a sex tourism spot.
So, as you can imagine, a shit ton of girls here are working most of the time, regardless of what time of day. Unfortunately, some younger girls do find their way into the mix, so you should always demand to see their papers, whether it’s on the street, or if they have to check in to your hotel. This is a common thing, so don’t feel weird asking. They should have their info on them.
Haggling is in full effect here. Since there are often so many choices available, you can usually end up with a decent deal after talking a girl down a bit, so if you’re good at that, you’ll do well here. The same rules apply whether it’s a street girl, or in a bar or club.
Also, knowing some Spanish is key here. Yes, you can get by with your English most of the time, but if you want to haggle, or just ensure a better experience period, start brushing up on your Spanish a few weeks before leaving. Having a basic conversational level will go a long way.
Many girls here work full time, but there are a lot of semi-pros, which is awesome. A lot of girls go out for the night as anyone else would, but if you talk her up, you can often get her to go back home with you for a price.
Oh, and one last thing to know. Bring small gifts with you. This includes stuff like cheap dresses, brand name perfumes, cheap jewelry, etc. That can be a nice tip to give the girls before they leave. Plus, it can sometimes get a problematic girl to leave when she’s asking for more money after – a hallmark of Dominican girls.
Dominican Street Hookers
The most prevalent working girls in the Dom Rep are street hookers, which is a little different than other legalized countries that rely more on brothels and escorts and such. Regardless of what city you’re in, there will always be girls roaming the main city streets, outside of bars and clubs, sometimes at restaurants, and at the beach.
For the most part, Dominican street girls are of higher quality than the average street prostitute, and they are also very confident in their approach. As in, walking up, grabbing your arm and saying “let’s go papi.” (papi is a popular Caribbean slang term of affection for men). It can be a little annoying at first, so get ready to say no a lot.
Anyway, the cheapest sex prices will be found with street girls, so that’s where the value is if you’re trying to stretch your dollars. Sosua and Boca Chica have the best street scenes, especially at night, so keep that in mind.
- Prices: Anywhere from 1,000 to 2,500 DOP for 30 minutes to an hour is pretty typical, and if it’s late at night, you may be able to talk the girl down to 1,000 DOP. I’ve heard of some guys getting a girl down to 500 DOP, but that involves some luck, and being attractive certainly helps too. She may or may not stay the night.
Dominican Bar / Club Girls
For those that don’t want to pick a girl off the street, or just want to make their selection process more of a night out, rest assured the bars and nightclubs are swamped with hookers – both pros and semi-pros. In fact, in places like Sosua, go ahead and assume every girl in the bar (aside from the bartenders) can be had for a price.
In most bars, you’ll be approached by a few girls, and get others to approach you by giving them a look, or even just responding to theirs.
She’ll come sit with you, and expect you to order a drink, kinda like in Thailand. This is just a courtesy, and from there you can feel eachother out, and discuss prices. This is where knowing Spanish really helps. If you agree on a price and time period, you can stay a little while longer and drink some more, or make your way back to your place.
- Prices: Usually anywhere from 1,500 to even 5,000 DOP, depending on how hot she is, and how valuable she feels that she is. Sessions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (“short time”), or maybe even all night and into the morning (“long time”). Definitely plan on giving her one of those gifts if that’s the case.
Dominican Brothel / Resort Girls
Like I said earlier, brothels are basically non-existent in the DR now, but adult resorts are definitely not. Now, when you think of “adult resort”, I don’t mean one of those swinger/nudist/open-sex places like Hedonism II, but a place where you get a resort experience, as well as to sample the local talent working at the resort, sort of like an escort agency you can stay at.
These are basically brothels on a beach, with legit hotel rooms, bars, pools, and all. You get the relaxation and luxury of staying at a resort, and still get to pick your girls.
Every resort has a different setup, but you can often pick different packages that not only include the room type and amenities, but the amount of sessions you can have with a girl, or girls.
Some of the top choices include DR Nights, Blue Paradise, Senses Private Club and Ahnvee Resort. Look ‘em up.
- Prices: All locations and packages are different, but most of them offer basic 3 day stays that include a session with a girl each night for around $1,000 USD, or about 50,000 DOP. More days, better rooms, and more sessions cost incrementally more. Most places let you book the stay in your own currency, and everything is all-inclusive.
Dominican Dating Site Girls
If you want to meet girls in the Dominican Republic that are both super attractive and fun to hang out with, using a dating site is probably your best option. Seeking Arrangement is a hugely popular dating site both among expats in the country as well as tourists who want to meet up with nice local ladies.
And what’s great about this site (apart from the thousands of sexy women online at any daytime) is that you can arrange your dates conveniently from at home, even before starting your trip, means you don’t waste any time.
- Prices: You will have to talk to your girl and make some sort of “arrangement”, means you would give her some pocket money every now and then.
Dominican Escorts
Escort services are all over the DR. And as always, this is the easiest way to have sex and get a girl to come right to your room, without all the bullshit. You’ll find a wide range of girls, including their price, several pictures, their specialties, etc.
Some work in certain cities, while others may be willing to come to your city if you can pay the travel. This is obviously the most expensive route to take, but you also get the convenience of hand-picking your girl from the comfort of your computer (or phone), and you know you’re getting a proven girl who will know how to entertain.
While most of the girls will be Dominican, you will often find plenty of Haitians, Latinas from other countries, and some other international girls as well.
- Prices: 3,000 to 7,000 DOP, all depending on the girl’s attractiveness, the session length, and any extras.
Conclusion
The Dominican does do some things a little differently, but it’s still one of the best countries to hook up with hot working girls, and usually for fairly cheap. As long as you know what to expect, the culture, and the pricing, you can set yourself up for an amazing week or two. Or three.
