Jakarta is becoming one of the most popular cities in Southeast Asia among single men who are looking for some fun with the local ladies. While Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Manila have long been the undisputed “Big 3” capitals in terms of sex tourism, there are many reasons why more and more guys of all ages are coming to Indonesia’s capital – even if it’s just for a few days before continuing to Bali or other more relaxed places.
First, a big drawback for a lot of people to come here has always been the terrible traffic situation and bad air pollution. Combine that with the fact that this is a city of more than 10 million people, it was nothing unusual to sit in the taxi for more than 1 hour to get for example from your hotel in modern South Jakarta to one of the naughty sex parlors in North Jakarta. Fortunately, with more and more construction of MRT lines getting finished (including the airport train), navigating around Jakarta has never been more stress-free and quick.
Second, Jakarta is currently experiencing a huge building boom – and that obviously doesn’t only include condominiums, shopping malls and office buildings, but also countless of new hotels, which results in bigger competition and therefore pretty amazing deals in terms of value and prices.
And third, the girls of course. It’s a known fact that Indonesian women are among the most beautiful in all of Asia, and since Jakarta offers by far the best job opportunities, there are countless of young, nice and pretty girls coming to work here from all over the country – and that obviously doesn’t only include such girls working in the red light venues, but also plenty of ladies with regular office or service kind of jobs you can easily get in contact with and meet for dinner by using the dating site (see below).
So like always for these type of guides, I’ll show you the 5 best places to meet sexy girls in this city, how much money you can expect to spend at each place as well as a map with all mentioned spots:
1. Online Dating Site
If you want to meet girls in Jakarta that are both super attractive and fun to hang out with, using a dating site is probably your best option. Seeking Arrangement is a hugely popular dating site both among expats in the country as well as tourists who want to meet up with nice local ladies.
And what’s great about this site (apart from the thousands of sexy women online at any daytime) is that you can arrange your dates conveniently from at home, even before starting your trip, means you don’t waste any time.
2. Girly Bars
Sooner or later during your stay in Jakarta, you will probably want to sit down in some bar, enjoy a cool Bintang draft beer and have some nice Indonesian girls around you who are in no way pushing or even annoying like in most of the strip clubs in North Jakarta begging you for drinks all the time.
Jalan Falatehan 1 in Blok M, South Jakarta is the perfect place to go for these types of locations. On this 200m long street you can find about 10 different lady bars, most of which are owned by foreigners who know exactly what type of nightlife western guys enjoy. My favorite bars here are Moon Rider (picture) and D’s Place.
Each of these bars has between 10 and 20 girls working. You can buy them drinks, but again they are usually not as demanding as in many other places. There is usually also a pool table and TVs with live sports, which make great opportunities not only to do something with your lady, but also to meet other travelers and expats.

3. Nightclubs

The most important things to know:
The nightclubs are basically a good place to combine partying and picking up hookers in Jakarta. Nothing more, nothing less. Yes, you might also be lucky and meet a girl that is not demanding money for sex, maybe even looking for her first foreign boyfriend, but well, if you’ve already been to night clubs in Thailand or the Philippines, you know how that goes: The type of ladies who are very nice to you are usually freelancers, and most of the rest is either too shy to talk to a foreigner in front of their friends or simply not interested in Bules (white men). It’s the same here in Indonesia.

4. One Stop Entertainments
If you are wondering what I mean by “One Stop Entertainments” – well, these are basically places with different types of entertainment all under one roof: strip/dancing bars, KTVs, massage parlors and even spas with pool and sauna.
Malio Hotel, Hotel Travel and Classic Hotel are some of the most popular places in this category. The type of “entertainment” differs from venue to venue, but they all have girls available for short time (one round of sex), and that’s the main reason for most guys going there anyway.

5. Street Hookers
The picture above was taken on Jalan Falatehan 1, which is not only a great area full of girly bars (see no. 2 of this guide), but also a hot spot for street hookers hanging out and waiting for customers. Some of them are surprisingly young and attractive (make sure to always check her ID card if you feel she may be a little too young), at least much hotter on average than the girls in North Jakarta like Lokasari Square.
They are usually asking for 500k for sex (short time), but I know guys who regularly bargain them down to 300-400k.
